Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The pain that you felt could be due to a back muscle spasm. This can be relieved with mild pain killers in combination with an oral muscle relaxant.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Praveen Tayal, Orthopaedic Surgeon
