What Causes Soreness In Vagina After Intercourse?

Hi! I have a question about sex.I haven t had any sex in about a year, and now me and this guy have been having a lot of sex, pretty intense, a few times in about a week. Now I m experiencing that my vaginal opening is aching a bit and itching also a bit of redness, as far as we know, the guy I m with should be clean, and me also. Is it normal to feel this uncomfortable feeling, since it s been so long since I last had sex or could it be something else? Also what can I do about it?

It is not normal.Before saying that an Sexually Transmitted Disease test should be done.Another possibility may be vaginal yeast infection so a vaginal smear is necessary.
