What Causes Soreness Of The Skin Between The Vagina And The Rectum?
I am 69 yrs old, weigh 185 lbs and 5'2" tall I have atrial fibrillation, high blood pressure and high cholesterol all of which is under control with medications. I also take a diuretic for water retention. The skin between my vagina and rectum stays sore continually. It feels like paper cuts feel. I have used neosporin, vasoline, epsom salts in my bath water. Nothing I've tried helps. Bath powder makes it feel better than anything else but does not heal it. I cannot see there but it does not feel like there are sores, it just feels like cuts or tears in the skin maybe. I can't remember how long I have had this problem. Probably between 6 mos. and a year.
Hi, It seems that due to estrogen deficiency at this age might cause some atrophy changes in vagina and surrounding area might have caused this problem. Apply vaseline or some moisturizing lotion locally. If require some estrogen cream can be used if your Gynaec advises. Ok and take care.
