What Causes Soreness Under The Ribs On The Right Side?

I do wiring for part of my job. I have been having bad soreness UNDER my right side lowest rib. I don t know if it is my gallbladder or possible something with my lungs/chest. It used to hurt only when I ate, but now starting to hurt all the time. So far, has NOT hurt while in bed or sleeping. If I press on it (pain) for a period of time (1-2 minutes), the pain goes away for a while...then eventually comes back.
