What Causes Spasms In The Left Breast While On Lipitor And Metoprolol?

Hello Dr.,,I have been expericing left breast spasms for a long time,and it s driving me crazy. I am on Lipitor,metoprolol,metformin,pioglitazone,and omeprazole as of now. I had a triple bypass 2000,and have been doing ok,have seen my heart dr. at least twice a year,and have had my blood check every 4 months,and my numbers been extremely good,except for this nerve wrecking twitch every other day which is very difficult to handle. I have bought icy hot lidocaine patch which soothes my chest a little bit. I have spoken to my doctor,and they said the best thing that I should do is take a nuclesr stress test which will take place dec 5 at northern duchess in Rhinebeck ny. My question to dr.,,can I take anything safe to alleviate this problem. Thank you,,Walter

Hi,

This is seems to be non-specific type of symptom it may not be due to any pathology or danger illness, muscular spasm is always have no specific reason, certain drugs are there and you can try that one Gabapentin and Carbamazepine on empirical basis you can try this, try to come out of stress, stay away from anxiety.
