What Causes Spinning Headache?

Hi sir,I am a man of age 30. Last a few days i am feeling sudden head spinning,which last for few seconds. I have normal blood pressure. I am not suffering from any disease till date,except a slight elevated TSH (5.2).Please suggest how to deal with it.

Hello and Thanks for posting your query on Healthcaremagic.

Based on the symptoms it looks to you are suffering from vertigo. If you have dizziness with change of head position or posture lasting few seconds with or without tinnitus and hearing problems suggests ear related problem. If you have associated headache may be due to migraine.

You can use medications like cinnarizine, betahistine and prochlorperazine for immediate relief. You need to see a Neurologist and ENT specialist for evaluation and management of vertigo.
