What Causes Spotting After Having Sexual Intercourse?

I saw my period on the 22 of July ended on the 26 of July went on vacation with husband on the 29 had sex almost every day or every other day started spotting on the 9th of august after feeling a light pain during sex I also notice that It is 14 days where it is possible that I could have been ovulating but there would be little pain that came along with it. we took a break for abut 3 days but the spotting would be mostly when I wipe then it could be brownish in color or sometimes light pink I am worried we are also trying to have a baby
