What Causes Spotting After Urination?

I am a 56 year old african american woman. Back in May after 6 years without menstrual periods, I saw blood when I wiped after urinating not heavy not clotty. I went to my gyn and was given a urine test, a pap smear that included a biopsy and a stomach sonogram! Results: biopsy came back negative, other than the fibroids that I was aware of, sonogram came up with nothing due to much gas in stomach. I was told I had a yeast infection and not to worry unless the blood comes back and change, Today I saw light blood again when I wiped, but near the end of the urine it was almost like a UTI little pain. What steps should I consider next? Thank you.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have some urinary tract infection. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination as well as culture and sensitivity test. Then you should take antibiotics accordingly. Levofloxacin or norfloxacin can be helpful.
It is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
