What Causes Spotting And Brown Discharge When On Depo Shots?

Hi, I am 11 dpo, I am 36 y old mother of two... on day 9 dpo I had little spotting ( first light brown and then darker brown, just little bit ), today on day 11 dpo I had a light brown creamy discharge... I didn't test for pregnancy ( don't wanna be dissapointed, if I am not ). is this a common pregnancy sign or it is something else ? thank you

Hi,

Slight menstrual irregularities and discharge can happen with contraceptive shots. Generally, it will settle by itself without any definite treatment. If discharge persists, you can consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated.
