What Causes Spreading Of Heat From Stomach To Entire Body?

Hi my Aunt is 75. Heat starts in her stomach and moves through her entire body, she becomes imobilized, though she thinks that out of fear to move, then a claminess spreads all over her body.

She has a pacemaker, which was checked and is OK. Her Doctor is sending her to a Neurologist. It happened once last year she was sitting outside and again just recently, she was sitting and watching TV, so neither were really stressful situations... Any idea what it could be?

Welcome to HCM!
I can appreciate the concern for your Aunt.

I am of the opinion that she is having some sort of tactile hallucination (false perception of sensation of physical contact with an imaginary object).
These symptoms may be caused by mental illness (schizophrenia), the side effects of medications, or physical illnesses like epilepsy or alcoholism.

She needs to be examined by psychiatrist for proper evaluation and treatment.

I hope I have clarified your doubt, should you need further explanations, please feel free to send us the queries.

Best regards!
