What Causes Stabbing Pains In Vagina After Sex?

I had the mirena IUD inserted almost two months ago. Had a little discomfort before but all the sudden after sex tonight i got sharp, severe stabbing pains around the lower abdominals, lower back, and uterus area. It feels as if someone had a knife in my vagina and was stabbing upward in all directions. It comes in wAves and gets unbearably intense.

Hi dear,
as you had IUD it may be possible that you have stabbing pain may be due to that . and as you described pain started after having sex so it may be possible that displacement of IUD may occur as you had it just before two months and also you have difficulty initially. so consult your gynecologist and if needed replace the IUD.
is there any associated symptoms like fever, discharge? because sometimes pain may be due to infection also.
so go to gynecologist for better treatment as local examination is also important
