I have had a sore throat for about 1 1/2 weeks. I don't have a steady fever, but if I get up and start doing a lot, I get sweaty and feel feverish. I've been tired a lot too. My eyes are a little tired/watery feeling. There is no sinus problems, no runny nose, and no cough at all. 42 years old, female
Your symptoms are indicative for viral infection. If you think that your symptoms have become worse or won't improve, should consult with your doctor for further evaluation.
Meanwhile, I advise to - drink plenty of water, juice, tea - take OTC antipyretics - take vit.C supplementation - take more rest - gargle with water and salt - keep good oral and eyes hygiene
Wish fast recovery! Dr.Albana
