What Causes Stiffening And Tensing Up Of The Body And Memory Loss Episodes?

my dad has been in a lot of stress lately. He has been having what seems to look like seizures but I m not sure. His whole body tenses up and he does not breath till he is out of it. His legs are straight out and back arches up. He also doesn t remember what has happen or remember anything while he is going through this stage . He is very very confused as well. it has been happening since 11am, its been 6 hours.

Dear weather your dad alcohol??? If yes when he took last drink?? Whather he is having lock jaw?? Dear possible causes may be tonic clonic seizures due to alcohol with drawel, opistotonus due to with drawel of drugs lead to extra pyramidal effects, some time Tetanus poisoning may give same problem. Please consult your neurologist (until complete examination it is difficult to say correct reason)he will examine and treat you accordingly.
