What Causes Stiffness And Pain In Body While Sleeping?

When I sleep At night I become very stiff and my body has high level of pain. I also am experiencing wired surge like feelings of electricity running thru my legs. This gets worse when I am in rem dreaming I wake frequently at nite I have generalized pain but also wrist ankle elbow pain. I feel like my mind is sleeping but my bones and muscles are battering my body.i am a diabetic with a below knee amputee 1year do to trauma not diabetes.this vibrating sensation I have only happens at nite when I m sleeping and worsens during dreaming

Hello,

This might be due to number of reasons which includes chronic fatigue syndrome and also anti inflammatory hormones are also low during the night time. I suggest you to take over the counter painkillers for your pain relief, if it does not cause any effect i suggest you to visit a doctor for detailed checkup and treatment if needed.
