What Causes Stiffness And Pain On The Base Of The Skull?

I have stiffness and pain in the base of my scull causing a severe headache. It has already woke me up at night. Also at the same time this pain started my back and legs muscles started aching almost to the point of not working. I haven t had the flu and this started a week ago. I have had some night sweats but I believe they are related to menopause since I am 60. I am very healthy so am very confused with this

Consult a neurosurgeon and get evaluated. As of now analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol can be taken for pain relief.
