What Causes Stiffness In Legs While Exerting Pressure?

I am 68 years old, and am having some stiffness when i either get up from a chair or out of a car for a short amount of time. I do excerisie, 30 minutes 3-4 times a week on treadmil doing the 2- level and 3 seed. I do manage to do 1 1/2 miles on it . but i do not feel the stiffness is coming from the treadmil, cuZ it actually helps me After i do it Again, it loosens me up. I have heard that it could be a form of gout or lyme? I just started to drink cherry juice two help the inflamation.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think it is not related to gout or Lyme. It can be related to over exercising. Doing stretching after exercising can be helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
