What Causes Stiffness In The Neck Along With Headache?
My sixteen year old feels hot from the inside out she said, more evident in her face .... she has a headache and her neck feels stiff. She slept in a recliner at the lake this weekend so the neck stiffness can be explained but the being hot from inside out...burning more so in her face , feels nauseous.

A headache, Nausea along with neck stiffness is concerning for meningitis (meningococcal) especially in a teenager.
It is best to take her to the emergency room as soon as possible as early diagnosis and initiation of antibiotics are important for recovery without complications.
