General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The simultaneous appearance of the stiff neck with groin muscle ache can be from the systemic issue as magnesium deficiency, calcium disorders affecting mitochondrial function or else.

She requires a systemic evaluation with a neurologist to proceed further in this instance before thinking of MRI.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
