What Causes Stinging During Urination While Taking Flucloxacillin For Infection In Big Toe?
I was recently on a course of 4 capsules of 500 Mg flucloxacillin per day for a in infectiion in my big toe. On the 6th and final day I started to notice excessive urination and some stinging during urination. It is 60 hours since my last dose and these symptoms are persisting. What do you think is causing it and what can I do? I am an overweight 54 year old man and have no history of impared liver or renal function.

Hello.Your urinary symptoms are not related with foot infection or antibiotic intake,
your discomfort is probably due to a urinary tract infection. In my opinion Ciprofloxacin can be taken for treating your symtoms. If you have fever,you should go to an Emergency Service.Please consult your local doctor for a prescription.I wish you good health.
