What Causes Stomach Ache And High Fever In A Child?
5 year old with stomach ache x 2 days, vomiting, headache unrelieved by tylenol or advil yesterday all day (no complaints today as of yet) severe chills during headache at one point yesterday (relieved by hot bath), fever of 103 currently and complaints of stomach ache, vomiting anything that she takes in, last vomitus thick and mucousy. Currently on amoxicillin for otitis media. Possible diagnosis? Need to report to ER? Doctors office closed today inobservance of holiday.
