What Causes Stomach Bloating Post Cecum Operation?

hello doctor, i want to ask something. i'm a 14 years old boy and 3 days ago i had a cecum operation. now im already cured but my stomach is bloated. before the operation my stomach is six pack. please help me cause i don't know what to do doctor. thank you

Hello,

As you underwent cecum operation 3 days ago, I want to ask whether you had passed stool or gas per rectum in these three days. If yes then there is no worry.

If no and if you feel that your stomach is bloating along with that abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and then you have to consult with surgeon immediately.

Because if your stomach is bloating after operation and you are not pass the stool, it's indicate intestinal obstruction and it's emergency situation so consult with surgeon as soon as possible.
