What Causes Stomach Cramps Along With Bad Breath?

I ve been having stomach cramps that would come and go, so my doc ran tests and thought it could be my gallbladder - so i had it removed 2 weeks ago. I had the same pain on Wednesday but it lasted 5 minutes instead of 20... Thursday, and then Friday - same. I had it Sunday morning at 4:30 am. Pretty much every day, but only 5 minutes. Tonight, Ive been having the pain since 6 pm. Its dull, but nagging and the taste in my mouth is extremely foul. Should I go to the ER?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of pain in abdomen like cramps which the Doctor thought of due to gall bladder.
There must have been an ultrasonography showing gall bladder stones or inflammation and hence the gall bladder would have been removed.
Since you pain has persisted the most probable diagnosis is the retained stone in the bile ducts causing recurrent pain of short duration, the pain vanishing the moment the stone is disimpacted allowing the bile to flow.
This can be diagnosed by the following:
Upper GI Endoscopy and Ultrasonography can show the impacted / retained stones.
The ERCP at the same time allowing the removal of the stone and the stenting of the bile duct may help you to avoid pain.
CT scan helps to rule out other causes like pancreatitis, pancreatic problems or liver pathologies that can cause the similar pain.
