What Causes Stomach Cramps And Dark Colored Vaginal Discharge?

Hi I gave birth 3 months ago. I had my 1st period last month. I am due for another 1, but instead I have had cramps on my right side, then the next day I got a very dark discharge like old blood, the next day the cramps moved to the left, the dark blood continues. The night before the cramps I had inter course. Should I be concerned?

Hi,

Consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated. It can be due to vaginal infections like thrush or bacterial vaginosis. You can go for a vaginal swab to make a diagnosis.
