What Causes Stomach Distention And Edema In Feet When Suffering From Diabetes?
my husband 67 years old. He was under gone heart surgery in the year 2004 He is diabetic since 20 years. He is 5 feet 8 inches height. His weight is around 70 kg.Now his belly is bulging. He says his stomach is even without taking any food. Since one month light odema in his feet. He has fatty liver.
Dear friend fron whatever you have told me,I can see that your husband is overweight which has a bad effect on his diabetic profile.as he is complaing of abdomen gets full even without food it solicits proper investigation.now he already has fatty liver so there is a fair chance that due to some liver condition he is feeling such heavy and full abdomen condition.so what is required, apart from urgent clinical examination,is a good ultrasonographic profile of whole abdomen to clinch the diagnosis.thank you.
