Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I have had 4-5 days of diarrhea and last night very bad stomach pain and rumbling, then I threw up twice in the night. I am feeling a little better today and have not thrown up or had diarrhea, but my stomach still feels tight, crampy, and bloated. It is kind of painful. I am trying to stay hydrated, but does this sound like something more serious than just food poisoning or the stomach bug?
Thank you very much for contacting healthcare magic.
If You have problem of stomach pain after eating a food than that may be because of food poisoning. Abdominal bloting, pain and cramp present from long period of time than stomach infection may present.
Consent a gastroenterologist for further treatment. Stool examination test is helpful for diagnose. Abdominal ultrasoundsonography can do for further diagnosis.
Try to rehydrate your body. Drink filter water . Avoid oily foods and fatty foods.
I hope my guidance is helpful to you. Thank you very much.
