What Causes Stomach Pain Which Leads To Urge For Bowel Movement?

Hi. I've been having this problem where I get quite harsh stomach pains which causes me to need a poo, this is quite violent as it is really sudden and I struggle to hold it in. This has been happening for about 2 months now and doesn't seem to be getting any better. Any ideas?
