What Causes Stomach Pain While On Antibiotics?

My daughter was having viral n throat infection for which ahe was on antibiotics for six days . she was fine but on 7th day she started complaining stomach ache and paased stool with mucus. Three times but no blood or green color stool doc suggest me with antogermina fluied n meftal spas. N said will take two days but she is complaing lot of stomach ache. She had stool 4 times very small no mucus. But she us very uncomfortable pls suggest. Should i gice her drotin intead od meftal
