What Causes Stomach Pain With Normal Reports?

My son has severe stomach pain, drs have done blood tests, ct scan, with no positive findings, a scope is planned, his school is telling me he needs to see a therapist cause its all in his head, but even in his sleep he moans with pain, he lays with his knees bent or his belly hurts. What could it be?

Hello,

If the CT finding is unremarkable, then endoscopy may not reveal anything positive instead of this Ultrasonography and stool examination is advisable.

In such case, certain condition are there and that can be managed on tentative basis like colicky abdomen worm infestation, I actually giving try with tablet Dicyclomine with Paracetamol and Mebendazole tablet.

The dose is according to age and weight. You can discuss this with his doctor; else it is nothing to worry.
