Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to heartburn. I recommend using antacids such as Mylanta. I also recommend using PPI medication such as Omeprazole.

You can find this medication over the counter option named Prilosec OTC. Avoid caffeine, alcohol and food that triggers the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
