Dear Ma'am, Hi
Welcome to HCM.
I appreciate your concern for the safety of Ezetrol.

Yes, you have to take Ezetrol as it is found to be effective in preventing the lipid rich clot formation and thus the stroke.

Used to lower the high cholesterol level, Ezetrol (Ezetimibe) can produce the following side effects like diarrhea, back pain, stomach or abdominal pain, numbness or tiredness.

If stomach upset is become troublesome you may please ask your treating doctor to review the prescription, may be you an alternate but a safer drug to lower the high cholesterol level.

Meanwhile continue to have your regular walk, etc.

Hope to have answered your query.

A feed back is appreciated.
