What Causes Stomach Upset While Suffering From An Anal Fissure?

I ve been diagnosed with an anal fissure, and sometimes after the use of cream it comes back. I ve also noticed that sometimes my anus is really tight? I also get the odd upset stomach and pain in my sides, back around the abdomen area, and also in my sides like the groin area. Is this normal?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Upset stomach seems to be gastritis or indigestion related.

Anal canal opening can be narrow primarily causing fissure or can be secondary to the pain of the fissure.

Has to be evaluated by per rectal examination with an expert consultant surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
General & Family Physician
