Hello, My son is 18 months old. Since last 20 days, I am observing that he is becoming moody in having his diet, still he takes fruit (papaya, apple, banana, orange) and solid diet (milk, roti, rice ,pulses) with little force. Also, he is getting the habit of motion after every meal. The motion is normal neither liquid nor hard.I am not getting why is he passing motion after every meal? what should I do for this?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is a normal condition and it is somewhat physiological phenomenon to pass the stool after eating something and not the disease condition to be worried about.

The only thing to be kept in mind is it should not be associated with water diarrhea, abdomen distension, vomiting, fever. If these symptoms are not there, then there is nothing to worry. At the most, you can change the diet.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
