What Causes Strange Sound On Breathing After Mucolite Drops Intake?

Hello doc, i have 5 month and 1 week old baby. She has developed running nose,stuffy nose & cough. I went to my doc, he has prescribed Mucolite drops & T minic oral drops. I'm little concerned on these drops side effects. I gave it for a day & stopped. I have given her home made medicine which takes a long time to show recovery. Today I hear a strange sound in my baby's breath.. Pls suggest

Greetings of the day

You have done the right thing of stopping these medicines.
T Miinic which contains Phenylephrine is to be avoided in children less than 2 years of age.
The respiratory sound is likely to be due pent up secretion.
Normal saline nebulization and normal saline drops instillation in the nostrils will provide the much needed relief.
