What Causes Strong Smell In Urine?
Hi I am a clinical Nurse and I have noticed that my aunt has a strong smelling urine. It smells musty/mouldy and her urine is clear. She is asymptomatic of any UTI but it is a pungent smell and want to remove this issue for her as she is starting to get embarrassed

It could be diet related. Avoid beets or asparagus.
The other thing that can cause this is urinary stasis. Have her void every 2-3 hours and hydrate well to make the urine more dilute.
