What Causes Sudden Anxiety, Excessive Sweating And Breathlessness?

about a month ago at breakfast I had a sudden onset of anxiety and a feeling of unfamiliarity in my home of 27 years. It passed in about 3 minutes. Then last Sunday in church I had the same feeling this time with sweating and shortness of breath, again it passed in a few minutes. I am 70 yo and came home from a trip to Greece on a 10 hour plane flight, resulting in a blood clot in my leg (arterial) and my doc put me on xeralto. I am not taking any other meds. I had a full physical in February and my doctor used the work Terrific! Any clues to this recent activity?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You need to do a physical examination by a cardiologist in your area and need an angiogram to rule out coronary artery blockage.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
