What Causes Sudden Disoriented Feeling And Confusion While On Amphetamines?

Hello, I lost concept of time today after a workout. I didn t know what day it was and although i was told it was Thursday, I couldn t estimate how long before this weekend. It as if time meant nothing to me. I do take amphetamines and I wonder if perhaps being dehydrated or having low blood sugar can cause confusion like this. I did drink plenty of fluids during the day and during the workout too, but I did sweat quite a bit.

Hello,

Hypoglycemia, dehydration can cause the confusion but it has to be a severe one.

If this is mild one then it may not cause the confusion, besides this, it can be due to some functional disorders, age-related.

It cannot be due to Amphetamine but it can be due to some sedative drugs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
