What Causes Sudden Dizziness, Headache And Disoriented Feeling?
I was just falling asleep last night when I suddenly became extremely dizzy and disoriented, within 30 seconds my entire body felt like I had a thousand needles in me and within seconds of that I started sweating profusely for about 30 minutes, followed by a headache. I woke up with the same headache, nausea and quite lethargic this morning. Seen my primary dr. this morning, he did an EKG, which was fine but ordered an MRI, carotid and heart ultrasound. Could I have possibly had a mini stroke? Or was this a heart related issue?

Hello,
Your symptoms could be related to a small stroke. Another possible could be seizures. For this reason, I would recommend performing an EEG to investigate for this possibility too.
