What Causes Sudden Feeling Of Mouth Watering And Vomiting?

3 times in the last couple weeks I ve gotten a sudden wave of mouth watering and feeling like I am going to throw up. It lasts a min or two and then completely goes away. I have no other symptoms and feel fine before and after. During my stomach doesn t ache, just that feeling that I m about to vomit. Doesn t seem to be related to time of day or mealtime.

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of sudden wave of mouth watering and feeling like going to vomit, lasts for a minute or so and gone, happened 3 times in the last week, there are no symptoms of stomach ache or others.
Such an occurrence occurs classically in a condition called GERD meaning gastroesophageal reflux disease.
Another reasons can be severe gastritis but not causing much of the symptoms related or indigestion or stress and anxiety.,
I would advise you the following.
Better to get stated on a PPI like Omeprazole and an antacid when you are on empty stomach.
If the problem repeats, get an upper GI endoscopy, X-ray of the abdomen in standing position Ultrasonography of the whole abdomen and further management as per the findings.
