What Causes Sudden Fever And Severe Chills?
My 22month old woke up very hot so I gave him 5ml of childrens motrin at 830am. now it has been 3hours and his fever is at 102.4 rectal he is very fussy and he has almost like severe chills. is this something i should be worried about? there are 0 other symptoms

Give her another dose of medicine.
Give plenty of water and keep him well hydrated so there can be more perspiration and can bring down the temperature.
Apply cold sponge on his abdomen.
Ok and take care.
