What Causes Sudden Foot Pain?

I was laying down in bed not doing anything when all of sudden I got this terrible pain in my foot. I'm not sure what it was but it felt almost like blood vessel poping or something. At least that's what I thought it was. It lasted a few long agonizing seconds before it went away.

Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the tetany, happen due to the defeciency of the calcium. The other cause may be the muscle twitch.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then periodically along with calcium supplements,to avoid the recurrence.

Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods, till the pains are completely cleared,or to avoid recurrence.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
