What Causes Sudden Increase In The Urine Output?

My Father is under going dialysis from January 2014. His creatine level Pre dialysis is 5 and post dialysis is 0.8. Last 2 - 3 weeks his urine output has suddenly increased to more than 500 ml/day . Is it normal and what does it mean. His recommend Fluid intake is 750 ml but now he is taking much more than that .

I am really sorry to know the health condition of your dad but don't worry with dialysis he should be fine..

I read your question completely and have understood it well enough..
Being a surgeon, we encounter so many such cases..

Please do this thing immediately..
1. Restrict his fluid intake to the recommended one.. Less than 750 ml..
Please do it.. Down test the diseased kidney. Not good..

Shall address all your worries..
2. Creatinine pre and post dialysis looks pretty normal.
Suggest you not to get carried away by normal creatinine post dialysis.
Remember, it's POST dialysis..

3. And as I told you, his increasing urine output is because he's consuming more amont of fluid than recommended one..
