What Causes Sudden Seizure Attack Along With Chills?

I experienced a 45 minute seizure like episode where chills took over my entire body. I could not stop shaking. It hit rather suddenly. I am a 56 year old active male in decent shape. The 2 days after this I experienced a headache and body aches from this.

Hello,

Seizures are not chills. If you have uncontrolled firing of brain neurons all over the place (seizures) you won't be conscious during it.

On the other hand, if you have chills from an immunological stimulus, the muscle shake. And you feel chilly. And typically this produces a fever.

Immunological stimulation can be from an infection of any kind, disruption of immune cells, an immune reaction to anything and probably many other causes.

Even serious symptoms if they go away and don't come back are less likely to mean something serious is continuing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
