What Causes Sudden Weight Loss In An Elderly Person?
I am a 62 year old female, 6 feet tall and too skinny...have lost about 10 or 12 pounds in the past few years and now down to about 127. People comment all the time. I feel fine. I eat very healthy, meaning I eat everything, but prefer healthier foods like fruits, veggies, everything you're supposed to eat, including big bowl of oatmeal with nuts and fruit for breakfast. I do have several female relatives who are tall and skinny, too! I am fairly active.
Hello, I hope you are well, unfortunately as the years go by, the body loses many capacities, you become weaker, fragile, process called immusenescence, which does not mean that you are sick. On the other hand, in your age group you are forced to investigate malignant processes whose general symptoms are weight loss, general malaise, early satiety, etc.
