What Causes Swelling And A Protrusion In The Knee After Injury?

I fell hard on my left knee. It s quite swollen and looks like something is protruding on the left side of my knee. It s not black and blue but hurts like crazy and the swelling has only gone done a little in the past couple days. It hurts to bend all the way but I can straighten it. I do hear a clicking noise when I wailk but not all the time. What do you think it might be?

Hii,
Thank you for asking a query.
Sir your left knee might have swollen due accumulation of fluid within your knee joint which is called as knee effusion.
The clicking sound that you are feeling may be because of some meniscal orligament tear in knee.
Kindly consult an orthopaedician,
You might require knee joint aspiration follwed by mri .
Thank you.

Note: For further queries, consult a joint and bone specialist, an Orthopaedic surgeon. Book a Call now.
