What Causes Swelling And A Red Rash On The Left Cheek?

I noticed the side of my left cheek was slightly raised or swelled. I then bit it a lot and when I looked in the mirror with the flashlight I saw a blood red patch on the area. I can t tell if it was there before or after I bit it, but the swelled part was there before.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice

As per your case history of redness and swelling on cheek, my treatment advice is -
1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily. 3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.
