What Causes Swelling And Crunchy Painful Effect In Arm After An Injury?

Hi, i fell on my right forearm, yesterday. There was slight swelling and some bruising. Today, there is more pain on the outer side of my arm and appears slightly abnormal to the other arm. Also, if I press on the area that hurts the most, there is a crunchy painful affect. Should I have the arm x-rayed?

Hi,

An X-ray is advised on a safety side. For now I will advice to immobilize the injured part with a crepe bandage. Do icing for pain relief. Post X-ray if no fracture is found then with simple conservative management you can be helped with.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
