What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Feet After Taking 124mcg Of Levothyroxine?

Had total removal of my thyroid one yr ago this month. The doctor started me off on 124mcg of Levothyroxin. Right away my left and right foot and leg started swelling. They changed my prescription to 100mcg...and I am still having swelling. I requested a lower dosage of meds. Could you tell me what I need to do. My next appointment is in July with my endoc.
