Hi,

thank you for providing the brief history of you.

Having a clinical examination and an x-ray will be of good choice. Safety first.

Usually, most injuries are muscular and subside in 2-3 days of time. If the pain increases over a period of time, i will advice to undergo an x-ray should help us understand more. As it can be even a hairline fracture or a ligament injury. So you are experiencing pain still

If the fracture is not noticed in the x-ray than using the ankle brace for 2-3 weeks of time should help and improve the overall health.
