What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Top Of The Collar Bone?

Woke up in am yesterday, and the left shoulder by the top of collar bone was swollen and painful, with out tithing it. Went to work, and back home to ice, anti inflammatory, an rest, no better next am, if it sounds like tends otis, or bursitis. Can I just treat at hOme?

For this tendinosis or bursitis (as per you) - I suggest pain killers and if they do not work in 7-10 days or if the swelling increases - please consult orthopedic surgeon.
