Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 21-year old female who is having knee issues. I had my first ACL and meniscus tears at age 14, re-tore my ACL and ALL at age 18, and tore the ACL, meniscus, and ALL on the other knee at age 20. I have recently been having knee pain. It started in the back of my knee and went to the top of my calf and has now moved to the front of the knee as well as still the back of my knee. I has recently been swollen and stiff, especially going down stairs. I wanted to check on here first before I went to my orthopedic surgeon and start to worry.

What Causes Swelling And Stiffness In The Knees?
Hi, Consult an orthopedician and get an MRI scan for further assessment. If the symptoms are severe, another arthroscopic repair may be required. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
